Mine Employment
I Had Lots of Trouble Looking For Mine Employment
Looking for mine employment opportunities can be like chasing a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Initial feelings of excitement and optimism are quickly replaced by frustration when all searches result in dead ends.
A few years ago, I had just gotten back from a long trip overseas and I was desperate to get into an industry where I could start making money FAST! I remembered a few conversations that I had in the past with people about mine employment and it sounded like it could be the answer to my problem.
I heard that the money was very good and they gave you plenty of time off. There was only one problem, it was almost impossible to find entry level mine employment that required no experience!
I searched high and low for a job in the mines and it was during this time that I found some information about oil rig jobs. Straight away the industry appealed to me because it offered the same benefits as the mining industry, only I hoped that it would be easier to find an entry level job.
I began searching for jobs on an oil rig but I found that I was having the exact same problem as when I was looking for mining jobs. It didn’t matter what I searched for, I continually came up with the same results. Either generic job search websites with nothing other than experienced or management positions available or industry specific recruitment agencies.
I considered the recruitment agencies but some of them were asking as much as $250 to submit a resume and they didn’t even guarantee you a job. I didn’t have much cash at the time so I wasn’t willing to take the risk. I was totally frustrated and ready to give up when finally I got a lucky break.
I Got A High Paying Entry Level Job!
I made the most of my small opportunity and managed to get a job at a very good company. It was not in the mining industry as I had originally planned but I didn’t care because I was getting all the benefits that I was looking for in the first place.
When I first got a job on an oil rig, I didn’t really put much thought into what had changed to allow me to get a job. After hearing the same story from hundreds of people who tried to get a job in the industry but couldn’t find any entry level jobs, I started to wonder why these jobs were so hard to come by.
The first place I started to look for an answer was by asking my co-workers their story of how they got into the industry. It seemed like a logical place to start as they had all managed to overcome the problems that so many others were having. I certainly found some similarities in their stories but nothing that really gave me a definite answer. I decided to do some searching on the internet for an entry level position again and it was at that time that the answer finally hit me.
