Job Mining
I Had Lots of Trouble Looking For A Job Mining
A few years ago I was in desperate need of a high paying job. I had just come back from a long trip overseas and I had no money. I had heard about an industry that paid good wages and gave lots of time off so as soon as I got home I started looking for a job mining but found it to be extremely difficult to find anything.
I didn’t know anything about the industry or anyone who worked in it so all I could do was search on the internet and in the paper. I searched for as many things as I could…
Job mining, mining employment, entry level mine job, mining companies and pretty much anything I could think of. It didn’t seem to matter what I searched for or who I spoke to, it was a dead end for every search.
During my search for a job mining, I stumbled across the oil and gas industry. My knowledge of the oil and gas industry was the same as the mining industry, absolutely nothing! After some research I found out that you could make the same kind of income and get lots of time off in the oil and gas industry as well. Those were the two things that I was looking for so I began my search for a job on an oil rig with the hope that it would be a little easier than finding a job mining.
To my disappointment, I found the exact same problem. It didn’t matter what I searched for, I consistently came up with the same search results. Either generic job search websites with nothing other than experienced or management positions available or industry specific recruitment agencies.
Of the two options, the recruitment agencies looked like a better option because at least they talked about “entry level jobs”. The problem was some of them were charging $250 to submit a resume and I was still no guarantee of getting a job. What was going to separate my resume that had no relevant experience from all the other resumes that were sent into the recruitment agencies? I didn’t like my chances and I didn’t want to waste my money.
I had almost given up hope of finding either a job in the mines or on an oil rig. Everyone I spoke to seemed to know about these two industries but knew absolutely nothing about how to get a job. I started to think these industries were a myth. I felt as though I was out of ideas and was about to give up when I finally got a break.
Even With No Experience – I Got A Job!
Although it wasn’t in the mining industry which was my original goal, I did find an entry level position on an oil rig. The wages were just what I was looking for and I only had to work six months of the year. I was so excited that my persistence had paid off and best of all, my bank balance was starting to grow.
When I first started, I didn’t spend much time thinking about why I had so much trouble finding a job. I since have had conversations with many different people who have told me their story about struggling to get into the mining or oil and gas industry. I couldn’t believe how many people had tried and failed and their stories were all exactly the same. I started to wonder what it was that caused people to have so much trouble trying to get into the industry.
To find an answer, the logical place to start was to ask my co-workers their story of how they got into the industry. I certainly found some similarities in their stories but nothing that really gave me a definite answer. I decided to do some searching on the internet for an entry level position again and it was at that time that the answer finally hit me.
The reason you are having trouble finding entry level jobs is incredibly simple and actually makes a lot of sense. It makes so much sense that you will probably kick yourself for not thinking of it but it’s just one of those things that you just don’t think about until someone points it out to you.
Finding What You Are Looking For
The funny thing about it is, even though it is such a simple reason that stops people from being able to find entry level jobs, it is enough to make 99% of people give up their search.
The first thing you need to do is understand why you are having so much trouble finding any useful information about entry level positions. If I thought about this when I was looking for an entry level job it would have saved me hours of frustration and it will do the same for you. The most importantly part is that it is going to stop you from giving up all together.
Considering how valuable this information is and the difference it will make to your searching, I figured that I could make a lot of money by selling the answer. The only problem is, the answer is so simple that I just wouldn’t feel right making people pay for it, so I decided to give the answer away for free!
So if you do want the answer to why you can’t find entry level mining work or oil rig jobs then all you have to do is enter your name and email in the spaces provided and I will give you the answer absolutely free.
I promise that I won’t send you spam because I hate spam just as much as you do. It is also worth knowing that not only will I tell you what has been stopping you, I will give you a few tips that will show you how you can find the jobs you are looking for. The best part is you will be able to avoid those expensive recruitment agencies and find the jobs yourself!
Regards,
Matt
